In just past March, two pieces of news presented a generous gift to the 5th anniversary of the mixed engineering reform of NHI. Firstly, the "Shuangjiangkou Hydropower Station Ultra High Earth and Rock Dam Anti Seepage Soil Material Transportation and Mixing Key Technologies and Complete Equipment" independently designed by NHI has been recognized by experts as an international first and the main performance indicators have reached the international leading level. Secondly, NHI has won the bid for a 5m x 5m geological model long-term high load loading system. The main components of this loading system belong to extreme manufacturing, with high technical requirements and difficult development. This bid demonstrates that NHI can provide comprehensive turnkey services across industries, scenarios, full process flow, and full life cycle operation and maintenance.

As the eldest son of the equipment manufacturing industry in the Republic of China, NHI has created more than 200 new China firsts in its history and is known as a major national treasure. After the mixed ownership reform, NHI sounded the horn of advancing towards high-end, intelligent, and green development, focusing on advantageous fields such as mining metallurgy, tunnel excavation, bulk material handling, and thermal power generation, and launching over 120 major products or projects leading the industry.

Marching towards high-end, a batch of products that fill the domestic gap have emerged one after another

In the first quarter of this year, NHI achieved a successful start in production and operation, receiving orders for nearly 10 large shearing machines. Previously, NHI won an order for a 5.5-meter-wide cutting line, which not only broke foreign monopolies but also allowed NHI to become China's "Scissor King".

Since the mixed ownership reform, NHI has launched 100% domestically produced TBM, helping to elevate the manufacturing capacity of TBM in China to a new level. The launch of China's first full face TBM developed for potassium salt mines is a leap forward in China's solid potassium salt mining equipment. The launch of MLL1500 tower mill has reached the highest level in the industry.

Built on a high mountain at an altitude of 3200 meters, this project solves the problem of supplying and blending anti-seepage soil materials for the world's tallest dam in a narrow space by using a nearly 10-kilometer stone transportation line ——the key technology and complete equipment for transporting and blending anti-seepage soil materials for the ultra-high earth and rock dam of Shuangjiangkou Hydropower Station. NHI has pioneered the world's first set of large angle core wall gravel soil material transportation and blending system.

Moving towards greenery and seizing future markets with low-carbon products

Actively promoting the greening of traditional industries and seizing future markets with green products, NHI has taken a big step forward in development.

Seizing the opportunity of the national "transition from public transportation to railway" and "transformation from bulk to container", we have independently developed a complete set of open and centralized dual-purpose double tipping wagon tippler, mainly used for the transportation of bulk materials in coal mines, power plants, steel mills, ports, warehousing, and logistics, replacing the previous open wagon tippler and achieving "green" transportation. At a coal yard in the Philippines, a 65-meter-long span, fully explosion-proof, and multi machine common rail intelligent fully enclosed coal yard stacking and reclaiming system continuously delivers materials to the production workshop. This equipment can meet the requirements of different coal quality material extraction processes, not only bringing new profit growth points to NHI, but also becoming a milestone in green manufacturing in China's bulk material loading and unloading industry.

Developing towards intelligence and seizing industry high ground with information technology

Taking the initiative to embrace information technology and achieve the development of products towards intelligence, NHI is steadily advancing.

At a cement plant in Anhui, an unmanned intelligent platform for bulk material storage is working efficiently day and night. It is jokingly referred to as a "money printing machine" by local customers. This product was created by NHI to embrace information technology and is highly popular among users due to its intelligence.

This unmanned intelligent platform for bulk material storage yard is mainly composed of an upper computer operating system, wireless communication system, monitoring system, detection and protection switch, PLC, low-voltage control system, etc. It has the characteristics of safety and reliability, high automation level, accurate fault analysis, real-time monitoring of operating data, green environmental protection, convenient operation, simple interface, and no need for training. It can achieve functions such as adjustable stacking parameters, one key stacking, dual positioning, remote operation, remote parameter setting, remote monitoring, remote automatic work, and flexible material yard division.

"In practical applications, this system can help enterprises reduce about 40% of related production personnel, reduce equipment failure downtime by about 20%, and significantly improve production efficiency." The customer commented.
